Beausejour District Hospital New Radiography Suite

About the project

At Beausejour Hospital, CPI completed the installation of a new high-performance general X-ray room. The project involved extensive internal renovations, including demolition and site work, new electrical and mechanical including ties to the existing systems, millwork and interior finishes and site cleanup in compliance with CSA standards. The Beausejour District Hospital is a 30 bed acute care facility, seeking to provide the highest standard of care, exercising a genuine compassion for the welfare of it’s patients.

As the Beausejour Hospital was fully occupied during construction, CPI used infection control measures in compliance with CSA Z317.13:22 to complete the work, which included significant planning and risk assessment to create and implement infection control measures and communication strategies with health centre staff. The new Radiography Suite includes options for manual and automated movement, and is designed to minimize X-ray dose and improves examination workflow.
