Canadian Tire New Gas Bar and Facility Upgrades

About the project

The upgrades to the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Portage Avenue is the latest in a long list of collaborations between CPI and the Canadian retail giant. Since 1989, we have completed over 40 projects together, including new retail stores, gas bars, car washes, renovations, demolition and underground tank remediation and replacement.

For this project, CPI was tasked with removing and replacing underground fuel tanks, contaminated soils disposal, associated piping, and dispensers, renovations to the associated convenience store, canopy repairs, painting, signage replacement, concrete work and asphalt repairs. Key to the project was the removal of contaminated soil from the site before installing the new storage tanks.
