Dauphin River First Nation New School

Project Description

Working with the Community

The site came with grading and groundwater issues. By working with DRFN and local contractors, CPI was able to bring in enough clean fill to bring the land up to grade to keep the project on time and budget. Due to the remote location, CPI maintained a camp for crews to stay during the project. DRFN residents were hired to run the camp, which minimized delays caused by travel ability and time, and promoted engagement with the community.
