Phased Renovation Work
Given the project’s location in an active school, the work was meticulously planned and executed in phases to allow the continued use of the school. CPI worked closely with school staff and consultants, regularly coordinating to ensure minimal disruptions to daily operations. Measures were taken to manage noise, prevent service interruptions, and maintain fire access and control at all times.
To minimize the impact on students and staff, loud or odorous work was scheduled for evenings or weekends. When unavoidable service interruptions occurred, such as mechanical or electrical disruptions, CPI ensured the school received 72 hours’ notice. Despite the challenges of working in an occupied space, the project was completed on time with minimal change orders, demonstrating effective planning and communication throughout.
