About the project

Removal of two existing underground fuel-dispensing systems, including three 22,700 litre underground, single-wall fiberglass storage tanks (two gasoline and one diesel), complete with their associated underground single wall steel product pipelines, submersible pumps, fuel-dispensing islands, and all associated equipment. Two existing dual product, dual hose fuel-dispensers will be retained, refurbished and reinstalled. Install new gasoline and diesel storage and marine fuel-dispensing systems.

Installation of a new system, including two new double-walled underground HDPE jacketed steel storage tanks (50,000L gasoline / 25,000L diesel) installed in the existing parking area, and two refurbished dual product, dual hose fuel-dispensers, each equipped with two stainless steel spring-rewind hose reels. The new storage tank systems will include submersible pumps, overfill prevention alarms, overfill prevention devices and electronic monitoring and tank gauging console for system leak detection and inventory monitoring. The new storage tank system is also identified with the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Federal Identification Registry for Storage Tank Systems (FIRSTS).
