Renovation of Operational Call Centre

About the project

Completed over multiple floors within an occupied building, this renovation of a 8,360 square foot, fully operational call centre leveraged a phased schedule to maintain 24-hour operations for the client, and comply with site’s strict security requirements, which were reviewed daily with onsite teams.

The work included demolition, structural, mechanical, electrical and telecommunications systems. The call centre received a new electrical room in the basement and a new generator and pad in the parking lot. CPI supplied and installed new structural steel, new wall and ceiling panels and millwork. New access flooring and specialty consoles were also supplied and installed.

The work included major lead remediation and asbestos abatement, and CPI successfully minimized the impact using a robust hoarding system and daily environmental testing. All shut-downs, testing and commissioning for the call centre were also included.
